For first authorisation applications, the set fee to cover the cost of verifying the completeness of the application is to be paid to ANSES when submitting the application. Then, a fee covering the start of a detailed assessment of the dossier is to be paid as soon as the application is deemed admissible. ANSES will request any remaining payment later if necessary. For other types of application that require the first authorisation to be obtained as a prerequisite, fees are to be paid at the start of the evaluation process.

Payment for mutual recognition is to be made when submitting the complete dossier, once the authorisation has been obtained in the reference Member State. Fees are to be paid to ANSES.

The same applies to applications for inclusion in a frame formulation.
