The French Ministry of Environment describes biocidal products and the regulations governing them. This site then allows registration of biocidal products, and explains the French procedure for submitting an application. Only in French.

• SIMMBAD (Système Informatique de Mise sur le Marché des Biocides : Autorisations et Déclarations)

SIMMBAD is a website developped by the French Ministry of Environment and ANSES. It permits to submit online an application for placing a biocidal product on the French market within the framework of the biocidal directive 98/8/EC, and paperless.
