The European Commission provides documents concerning biocidal products and to help for dossier submission. Assessment reports of active substances are available. The list of active substances notified for the appropriate use, as well as manual of decisions and R4BP document can be downloaded on this website.

ANSES sets out the scientific activities inherent to its missions, including the evaluation of biocide dossiers for which it has provided a guide to procedures.

The European Union provides Directive 98/8/EC and its revision, guidance documents (other than those presented by the European Commission), and lists of active substances included or not included in Annex I or IA of Directive 98/8/EC.
